While Shawn is using the same guy as I did, the work he is getting done is way different than mine. Me and Shawn talked about this at length on the phone not to long ago, and I feel bad for him, and how he feels like the guy is not doing nearly as good of a job as he did on my car b/c I was checking on mine every day. The rear flares are all metal beleive me on mine, only regular amounts of body filler was used to fill in gaps and imperfections as is done with any paint job. The front fenders are fiberglass, but they are ALL fiberglass and are not molded on the car like so many others do. I did this so I can remove them like a normal fender, and to prefent cracking. The side skirts were molded on Kaminari sides at first, then I decided that was a terrible idea, so I had just the front of the side skirts cut off (glass) to be molded on the fiberglass wide fenders I had to keep materials from being mixed (to keep them from ever cracking), while the side skirt part on the car is a one off all metal replica of the kaminari skirts that was welded on just like the rear quarters were (this took forever and was a huge PITA, but I am VERY anal about details and practicality). So no, the parts that are metal are all metal, and the SEPERATE (not connected) parts that are glass are all glass...the only way to keep it from cracking. Unfortunatley me and Shawn's work on our cars is VERY different, and sadly I kind of agree that it might be because I was able to check on mine literally EVERYDAY, and make tweaks everyday, and this is the EXACT reason (And Shawn will agree with me) that I told him to NOT use the guy that did mine, and to use someone local to him.
